Position: Associate Dentist
Location: SW Calgary, AB
Clinic: Braeside Dental Centre

We're looking for a passionate, patient-focused Associate Dentist to join our dynamic team at Braeside Dental Centre, a proud part of Passion Dental Group. Whether you're early in your career or bring years of experience to the chair, you'll be joining a supportive, professional environment that values clinical autonomy, collaborative care, and access to a strong network of mentorship and peer support through the broader Passion Dental Group.

Specifics about the role:
  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Schedule:
    • Mondays 12:45-8:00
    • Tuesdays 6:45-2:00
    • Wednesdays 6:45-2:00
    • Thursdays 12:45-8:00
    • Alternating Fridays
  • Mentorship and CE opportunities
  • Compensation: We pay 40% on collections

What you'll do:
  • Conduct dental examinations and assessments to evaluate patients' oral health and support the development of appropriate, patient-centered treatment plans.
  • Provide general dental care for patients of all ages - including preventive, restorative, and basic surgical procedures - while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.
  • Administer local anesthesia safely and effectively to support restorative and minor surgical treatments.
  • Perform restorations (fillings), simple extractions, and other routine procedures within your scope of practice, with guidance and mentorship available for more complex cases.
  • Educate patients and families on oral hygiene, prevention, and long-term maintenance strategies to promote lifelong dental health.
  • Collaborate closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative team members to deliver seamless, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation using the dental software system.
  • Participate in mentorship and continuing education opportunities to build confidence, expand your skill set, and grow as a practitioner within a supportive family practice environment.

What you'll bring to the role:
  • 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
  • A valid license to practice dentistry in the Province of Alberta, in good standing with the relevant regulatory body
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills-you're someone who puts patients at ease and connects easily with colleagues
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail, with the ability to balance thorough care and efficient delivery
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multitask while keeping patient care at the heart of everything you do
