This is a high-ownership role for a sharp, collaborative attorney who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and is energized by the complexity and opportunity of the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, distribution agreements, brand partnerships, NDAs, and licensing agreements.

  • Partner with operations, finance, sales, and product teams to provide practical, timely legal guidance that enables the business to move fast and stay compliant.
  • Monitor evolving cannabis laws and regulations at the state and local level; develop internal guidance and training materials to keep teams informed.
  • Assist with employment-related legal matters, risk management, and insurance coverage in partnership with HR and Finance.
  • Manage outside counsel relationships and coordinate legal matters with external attorneys when needed.
  • Help build and improve legal processes, templates, and tools to scale the legal function as the company grows.

  • Industry-defining work
  • Be part of the fastest-growing cannabis company in the U.S. - at the legal frontier of a nascent, high-stakes industry.
