The Alternatives Client Platform (ACP) team supports the coordination and administration of investor communications and collateral across BlackRock's private markets platform. The team is responsible for delivering high-quality client and fund reporting, marketing materials, data management, analytics, and operational support that help provide a best-in-class experience for alternative investors. By combining process excellence, data-driven analysis, and technology-enabled solutions, ACP drives scale, innovation, and operational efficiency across private markets business lines.
Your role and impact
As an Associate within the Alternatives Client Platform team, you will play a key role in supporting investor communications, client reporting, fundraising activities, and operational improvement initiatives across private markets strategies. You will partner with a broad range of stakeholders, including portfolio managers, asset managers, fund administration teams, product specialists, and client-facing teams to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful information to clients and prospects. This role provides the opportunity to deepen your understanding of private markets while contributing to a high-performing and collaborative team environment.
Your responsibilities

The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities:
- Produce and coordinate client reporting packages by gathering, validating, and analyzing fund, portfolio, investment, and market data across private markets strategies.
- Partner with portfolio managers, asset managers, fund administrators, and other stakeholders to support recurring reporting cycles, custom client requests, and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Analyze and maintain performance, exposure, assets under management (AUM), flow, and track record data to support investor communications and business-line reporting needs.
- Coordinate the preparation, approval, and distribution of client-facing materials, including webinars, presentations, marketing collateral, and communication platform content.
- Support fundraising initiatives through request for proposal (RFP) and due diligence questionnaire (DDQ) responses, partnering with internal teams to gather, validate, and communicate relevant information.
- Develop ad hoc client materials, respond to information requests, and support large-scale data management activities across funds, strategies, and supported business lines.
- Drive operational excellence through process enhancement, technology adoption, workflow standardization, and effective information management practices.
Your experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in financial services or asset management; experience supporting alternative investments, client reporting, portfolio reporting, or product strategy activities preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively across stakeholder groups and collaborate across functions.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with strong data management and reporting capabilities; experience with VBA or Python is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating initiative, accountability, sound judgment, and a continuous improvement mindset.
For Atlanta, GA Only the salary range for this position is USD$90,000.00 - USD$120,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
