  • Prepare purchasing reports on spend and supplier performance.

Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Support procurement of mechanical and electrical components, assemblies, and materials to meet engineering, production, and project needs
  • Issue and manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, lead times, and specifications
  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and program management teams to understand BOM requirements, revisions, and priorities
  • Source and qualify new suppliers, including requesting quotes (RFQs), comparing pricing, lead times, and technical capabilities
  • Track order status, manage expediting, and proactively resolve delivery, quality, or supply chain issues
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data in data tracking systems, including supplier information, pricing, and lead times
  • Assist in cost control initiatives, including price negotiations, alternate sourcing, and component standardization
  • Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, demand signals, and forecast changes
  • Coordinate with suppliers on engineering changes (ECOs), part substitutions, and obsolescence risks
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable quality, regulatory, and documentation requirements
  • Prepare basic purchasing reports related to spend, supplier performance, and on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with all the cross functional teams, stakeholders, and the leadership team to provide visibility into the supply chain process and align with overall business objectives

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, logistics, business, or related field. Ideally someone with experience handling a variety of parts in a fast-paced environment.
  • 1+ years' experience in supply chain with evidence showing an exceptional ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Proven experience working in a supply chain organization focused on new technologies, the NPI process, and in a startup environment.
  • Exceptionally strong communication and negotiation skills that demonstrate an ability to communicate visually, verbally, and in writing.
  • Experience working with engineering teams (mechanical and electrical)
  • Ability to work well under pressure while simultaneously managing competing priorities, challenges, and risks. Effective response to adapting to these competing priorities, risks, and program changes as needed and quickly.

SF Pay Range

$115,000-$135,000 USD

Reno Pay Range

$100,000-$125,000 USD
