Summary
The Associate Business Process Automation Engineer will assist, support, and help coordinate the design, development, and operationalization of RPA/BPA automation solutions that streamline enterprise business processes, improving interoperability, quality, speed, and compliance. Working under guidance, the role will build and maintain automations leveraging approved platforms (UiPath, Python Selenium), following governance standards set by Sanford's Automation Center of Excellence. Partnering with team members, they will work directly with business leaders to document, design, and configure workflows; test, monitor, and resolve incidents to ensure stable operation. The Associate Engineer also presents status updates and findings to immediate team and business stakeholders, develops foundational UiPath skills, stays informed of platform updates and new features, and actively works towards certification as part of professional growth.

Job Description
The Associate Business Process Automation Engineer will work closely with all members of the Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team, as well as key business stakeholders that are project dependent. Must demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail. Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively. Must be able to effectively prepare, present, and defend newly developed content/processes to management and business subject matter experts (SMEs). Professional conduct and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.

Must have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with a problem solving and an innovative mindset. Continuously demonstrate organizational skills and ability to prioritize. Must be able to collect, organize, and document detailed information.

Basic working knowledge of UiPath will be necessary to work with business SMEs, this individual will capture inputs/outputs, rules, exceptions, dependencies, systems and applications necessary to initiate solution and design documents creating the configuration of UiPath framework of the automation process. In addition, the Associate Engineer will create clear user guides and basic technical documentation for automation processes to support adoption and training.

The Associate Business Process Automation Engineer will work under the supervision of the EDA team to adhere to the solution and process design documents to build less complex automation processes on the UiPath platform. Including the configuring UiPath orchestrator queues, credentials, triggers, to enable deployment, scheduling, monitoring, and also responding to execution alerts remediating failed jobs. Supporting the Hypercare phase and stabilizing automations post go-live. Responsible for UiPath Insights dashboard development for continuous monitoring of processed volumes, timing, and exceptions.
Requires the ability to present automation status updates and basic findings to immediate team and business stakeholders. The Associate Engineer is expected to maintain current UiPath certification and stay informed of platform updates and new features to ensure alignment with best practices.

Primary areas of focus will be on documentation, configuration, schedule optimization and testing of UiPath deployed automations.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required in Data Science or Computer Science.

One year UiPath experience preferred.

UiPath Developer Certification within 1 year
