This is it. Ed Castro, a family company of Mariani Premier Group, is hiring an Associate Business Developer to run outside sales and territory canvassing in an exclusive, high-end residential market and be the very first face our brand puts in front of homeowners. This is a field sales role, not a desk job and not a call center. You'll be out in the field every day, working an assigned territory, meeting people face-to-face, and building the relationship skills that top closers spend years developing. No cold calling scripts, no cubicle just real conversations, real neighborhoods, and real results. You won't be selling or closing deals. You'll be the spark: introducing the brand, building authentic rapport on the doorstep, and setting up our Business Developers to walk the property and make the offer. Why recent grads and early-career professionals love this role: · No industry experience required - we'll teach you the brand, the territory, and the sales fundamentals. What matters is drive, people skills, and reliability. · A real career path, not a dead-end gig - Associate Business Developers who consistently hit their numbers move up into Business Developer or Client Representative roles. · Transferable skills fast territory management, consultative conversation, objection handling, and CRM/lead-tracking discipline are all skills that translate directly into any future sales or client-facing career. · Performance-based growth -you're measured on real outcomes (appointments that actually happen), so your work ethic and results speak for themselves from day one. · Flexible schedule - full-time or part-time available, built around field hours, not a rigid 9-to-5. · High-end clientele exposure -you'll build the polish and professionalism that comes from representing a premium brand in an exclusive market. What You'll Actually Do · Canvass Your Territory: Work an assigned residential territory face-to-face as part of our outside sales team. · Deliver the Opening: Introduce yourself and the brand using our approved opening, hook, and ask warm, unhurried, consultative. Never quote prices, discounts, or timelines. · Qualify Through Conversation: Open with a genuine compliment, then ask 2–3 natural qualifying questions to learn the household's current provider situation and who the decision-makers are. · Capture Complete Lead Data: Record name, address, phone, email, best time to reach, current provider(s), other decision-makers, and access notes (gates, dogs, intercoms) for every qualified contact. · Book "Set Solid" Appointments: Schedule property walks that meet our Set Solid standard right decision-maker, expectations set in one sentence, notes logged, held within three days, and confirmed twice. · Hand Off Cleanly: Brief the Business Developer with full notes so every property walk opens warm. Promise nothing beyond the walk itself. · Track Your Funnel: Log every address, conversation, qualified lead, Set, and Sit daily building the data habits every great salesperson needs. · Represent the Brand Standard: Maintain a professional appearance, follow posted no-soliciting signs and local solicitation rules, park on the street, and leave every doorstep better than you found it booked or not. What We're Looking For · Prior experience in direct sales, canvassing, retail, hospitality, or another people-facing role is a plus but recent grads and career-changers are strongly encouraged to apply. · Comfort engaging high-end residential clientele. · Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly and read social cues. · Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable with rejection this is field sales, and persistence pays. · Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and ability to pass an MVR check. · Must pass a background check and drug screening prior to start (E-Verify completed upon hire, per federal requirements). · Available during territory-approved field hours (typically mornings 8:00–10:00 a.m. and weekday mid-afternoon through early evening; never past dusk). · Willingness to learn our brand's service offering, service area, and competitive landscape. The Environment This is an outdoor, field-based outside sales role involving extended walking and standing in residential neighborhoods, in varied weather within safe operating conditions. You'll work independently within your assigned territory while coordinating daily with a Business Developer on scheduling and lead handoff giving you both the autonomy and the mentorship to grow fast.
