Job Description:
This person must have the ability to understand complex data relations, business requirements, formulate efficient and reliable solutions to difficult problems. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge and understanding of RDBMS concepts and experienced in writing complex queries and data integration processes in SQL/TSQL and NoSQL. This individual will be responsible for creating the design, development and implementation of new and existing applications.
  • Work Collaboratively with all levels of business stakeholders to architect, implement and test Big Data based analytical solution from disparate sources
  • Responsible for providing subject matter expertise in design of database schemes and performing data modeling (logical and physical models), for product feature enhancements as well as extending analytical capabilities.
  • Reviews the existing database design and data management procedures and provides recommendations for improvement.
  • Demonstrate and understanding of concepts, best practices and functions to implement a Big Data solution in a corporate environment.
  • Design of scalable Big Data Architectures and solutions
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs
  • Implementation of some or all of the big data systems in distributed cloud environments

  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in process improvement, normalization/de-normalization, data extraction, data cleansing and data manipulation.
  • Practical experience with the data modeling (dimensional, relational, star schemas, snowflake schema modeling with facts and dimensions).
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Established experience with automated, elastic scaling of cloud services, automated deployment and remediation
  • Experience with implementation of Cloud application fabric technologies such as Cloud Foundry
  • High level of ownership and accountability

Required experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, Mathematics, Analytical modeling or closely related discipline.
