Qualifications

Description

The Bronx Associate Regional Director provides support to the Regional Director in oversight of assigned region.

Requirements

  • Provides direct social work services, which include crisis intervention, individual, family and group counseling, in collaboration with other members of an interdisciplinary team and completion of relevant documents, psychosocial evaluations, and treatment/shared care plans.
  • Assumes primary responsibility for the development and maintenance of resources and record keeping in the assigned practices.
  • Participates in departmental quality assurance efforts under the supervision of the Vice President of Psychosocial Services, distributes relevant information to staff, patients and students.
  • Provides and/or ensures clinical and on- site supervision for Psychosocial Services staff and students.
  • Analyzes and evaluates the quantitative and qualitative performance of supervisees and completes probationary and annual performance evaluations for staff within expected time frames.
  • Oversees orientation and training of new staff.
  • Assists Regional Director with other activities as required.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrates organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments at any time
  • Ability to generate, interpret and analyze data from multiple sources.
