Responsibilities
  • Design and project planning of software interfaces between process equipment in the 200 mm semiconductor manufacturing and robotics.
  • Introduce and support automation solutions in a 200mm wafer fab.
  • Evaluate concept results in terms of cost-effectiveness.
  • Independently support automation solutions with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Commission automation systems and release them for production.
  • Organizing and conducting installations, maintenance, and repairs with the workshop, suppliers, and other service providers
  • Rapid resolution of faults in collaboration with technical staff in the production areas
  • Collaboration with equipment owners to capture relevant signals
  • In-depth analysis of faults/errors and development of sustainable solutions in collaboration with equipment suppliers
  • Providing and managing spare parts, budget tracking


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Automation (robots, conveyor systems, Stockers and automated transport systems and storage)
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Extensive experience with various automation technologies (e.g., industrial robots (Kuka, Fanuc, ABB), PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell), vision systems, AGVs/AMRs, SCADA systems).
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of physical automation projects, from concept and design to implementation, testing, and commissioning.
  • CAD & SolidWorks software ability.
  • Expertise in computer programming and scripting languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).

Skills
  • Must have critical thinking, adaptability and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and interpret technical documents and manuals.
  • Senior ability to create and maintain operating and training documents and manuals.
  • Senior communications skills with various audiences from vendors to fellow engineers to operators.
  • Senior Experience with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital manufacturing initiatives.
  • Senior Knowledge of simulation software for automation and robotics.
  • Experience in specific industry sectors (e.g., automotive, consumer goods, aerospace).


Additional Information
  • This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
  • This position works Monday-Friday, additional hours as necessary

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position varies considerably depending upon qualifications (including education and applicable work experience). The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
