Our growing labor and employment defense firm is seeking a well-qualified associate attorney who can handle a busy caseload, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. To be considered, you must have a California bar license or be waiting for results from the July 2026.

Your excellent communication and writing skills will come in handy as you thoughtfully position the clients toward favorable outcomes. You will be working on labor & employment defense matters, including class action and PAGA cases. If you are seeking a long-term place to call home, this job is for you.

This is an in-office position, so you must live within commuting distance of our Rocklin office. Dog-friendly offices.

Responsibilities
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Have responsibility for own caseload.
• Keep clients up to date on case progress and strategy.
• Interview clients and witnesses.
• Conduct investigations.
• Review client issues on legal matters, analyze available options, and diligently work to determine the best course of action.

Qualifications
• Have a California bar license or are awaiting results from the July 2026 bar exam.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
• Must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the office.
• Must provide a school transcript.
• Must have excellent research and writing skills. Writing samples will be requested and checked for the use of AI.
• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school.
• Solid communication skills and problem-solving skills required in order to work with clients, staff members, and senior attorneys.
