PurposeThe
Associate Attorney is responsible for managing a caseload, handling matters from first legal through post-judgment for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the foreclosure process on behalf of our clients.
Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities- Attend mediations, hearings, and other duties as assigned (remote and in person, as required).
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and motions.
- Review complaints, foreclosure related motions, documents, and judgments.
- Perform legal research and writing.
- Perform legal analysis for and communication with clients.
Job Requirements - Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Member of the Florida Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.
- At least two years foreclosure experience.
- Must be able to work well with all members of the group.
- Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products
- Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
- Must possess strong organizational skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
- This position is fully remote
