Full Job Description
Purpose

The Associate Attorney is responsible for managing a caseload, handling matters from first legal through post-judgment for the firm. They will utilize legal knowledge and experience as necessary to facilitate the foreclosure process on behalf of our clients.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities
  • Attend mediations, hearings, and other duties as assigned (remote and in person, as required).
  • Draft pleadings, correspondence, and motions.
  • Review complaints, foreclosure related motions, documents, and judgments.
  • Perform legal research and writing.
  • Perform legal analysis for and communication with clients.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Member of the Florida Bar, while maintaining all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements.
  • At least two years foreclosure experience.
  • Must be able to work well with all members of the group.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency with Fastcase or Westlaw.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.
  • This position is fully remote
