What You'll DoManage medical malpractice and professional liability litigation through all phases of the case lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositions.
- Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex litigation matters.
What You Bring- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the New York Bar.
- 3-6 years of litigation experience focused on medical malpractice and professional liability.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience handling discovery, motion practice, and client communications.
- Ability to manage multiple litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.
