Responsibilities

  • Manage and support a docket of civil litigation matters through all stages of pre-trial litigation
  • Draft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and other litigation proceedings
  • Collaborate closely with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members
  • Contribute to case strategy, risk assessment, and overall litigation planning and execution
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely compliance with deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Associate Attorney - Litigation (Pre-Trial Focus)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney - Litigation to join our growing legal team. This role is ideal for an attorney who thrives in hands-on civil litigation work, values direct client engagement, and is comfortable taking ownership of matters in a collaborative yet independent environment.

This position offers meaningful responsibility across all phases of pre-trial litigation, with exposure to complex civil matters in both state and federal court.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will:
  • Manage and support a docket of civil litigation matters through all stages of pre-trial litigation
  • Draft, review, and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal correspondence
  • Conduct in-depth legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and other litigation proceedings (including in-person appearances as needed)
  • Collaborate closely with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members in a professional and responsive manner
  • Contribute to case strategy, risk assessment, and overall litigation planning and execution
  • Maintain accurate case files and ensure timely compliance with deadlines in a fast-paced environment

What We're Looking For

Compensation: $150,000 salary, plus discretionary bonuses with a guaranteed minimum of $175,000.
