Position Title: Associate Attorney
This role presents an opportunity for a legal professional to contribute to a collaborative environment focused on employment litigation. The Associate Attorney will engage in a variety of cases, primarily in employment defense, while also gaining exposure to business disputes. The position requires a balance of independent work and teamwork, allowing for personal growth and development. Candidates must be comfortable working remotely and managing their time effectively.
Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000 / Year DOE
Associate Attorney Responsibilities: - Collaborate with team members on case assignments based on workload and expertise
- Engage in direct client contact while keeping senior attorneys informed
- Handle discovery, legal research, and writing tasks as needed
- Participate in mediations and court appearances
- Manage a caseload that includes employment defense and business disputes
- Contribute to trial preparation and arbitration processes
Associate Attorney Requirements: - Around 5 years of relevant experience
- Expertise in employment litigation
- Experience in taking and defending depositions
- Strong skills in law and motion practice
- Comfortable in court settings
- Traditional law firm experience is preferred
- Trial preparation or trial experience is preferred
