Full Job Description
The San Francisco office of Clyde & Co seeks an Associate with 3-5 years of experience for our Aviation practice group.

The role can also be fully remote from anywhere in California.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Drafting pleadings, discovery responses and briefs
  • Preparing correspondence to colleagues and clients
  • Drafting opinion letters and status reports for clients
  • Conducting legal research using Westlaw/Lexis/Nexis
  • Drafting interrogatories and document demands
  • Reviewing document collections in preparation for litigation
  • Attending depositions, hearings, oral arguments and mediations as required
  • Submitting filings to the court


Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Admitted to practice in the state of California
  • Federal court admittance a plus
  • Litigation experience
  • Aviation experience is an asset
  • Excellent analytical and legal writing skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000. The range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
