Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. - Previous experience in intercollegiate athletics, sports organization equivalent or high level marketing/experience entity.
- Knowledge of applied fan engagement and promotional strategies.
- Experience with game presentation, entertainment and coordination (i.e. football).
- Experience managing digital/social media channels to advance brand affinity.
- Skill in establishing rapport with internal and external constituents.
- Demonstrated ability to work in collaborative team environment.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills.
- Ability to supervise staff.
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree with additional consideration for Master's degree.
- Experience with digital communication tools.
- Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
Job Description The Associate Athletic Director for Brand Strategy & Fan Experience is responsible for developing digital, marketing and engagement strategies to enhance the brand value and fan experience of Texas State Department of Athletics. The position will direct, develop, initiate, and support strategies that drive revenue, increase attendance, and enhance in-game and fan experiences. The Associate Athletic Director will report to the Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations.
Job Duties Position duties include:
- Manage and coordinate digtial strategies and engagmenet to enhance the Texas State branding, increase fan engagement, and drive revenue.
- Oversee game presentation efforts and execution of in-game entertainment operations.
- Manage and coordinate the department's main digital channels including social media, email marketing platforms, and SMS.
- Oversee campus and community promotional efforts to increase engagement and involvement
- Serve on External Unit leadership team and work collaboratively with all external offices to achieve department goals and outcomes.
