The role spans Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio, while also supporting the onboarding and integration of emerging AI platforms such as Azure AI Studio, Anthropic Claude, and other enterprise AI solutions. You will help manage day-to-day product ownership, coordinate user enablement, and support rollout efforts that improve workflow quality, user experience, and productivity.

Our Team

The Data Cognition Team (DCT) is BMO Capital Markets' AI engineering and enablement group, with nearly a decade of experience deploying AI solutions in complex and regulated financial environments.

DCT combines deep technical expertise, product thinking, and business acumen to turn emerging AI capabilities into practical, scalable tools that deliver measurable value. We work closely with business leaders, technologists, and external partners to ensure AI solutions move beyond experimentation and become embedded in front-office workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Copilot Product Ownership:

  • Coordinate day-to-day product ownership activities for Microsoft 365 Copilot across Capital Markets to support adoption, stability, and continuous improvement.

  • Serve as a liaison across business users, enterprise technology teams, and external partners to help prioritize features and enhancements.

  • User Enablement and Support:

  • Manage intake, triage, and resolution of non-technical user issues to improve responsiveness and user confidence.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality user experience across AI tools and support channels.

  • Training, Adoption, and Change Management:

  • Develop and deliver training materials that help Capital Markets users adopt AI tools more effectively in their day-to-day workflows.

  • Drive user engagement through regular stakeholder interaction, feedback collection, and targeted enablement efforts.

  • Content and Prompt Optimization:

  • Maintain and improve the prompt library to better support Capital Markets workflows and common user needs.

  • Use user feedback and usage patterns to refine workflows and increase productivity impact over time.

  • Leadership Reporting:

  • Contribute to leadership reporting on usage, adoption, training, and feedback to support decisions on rollout, prioritization, and improvement.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in financial services, enterprise technology, product enablement, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated interest in AI and emerging technologies, with the ability to turn new capabilities into practical business use cases.

  • Strong execution, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through in a fast-moving environment.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across business, technology, and external partner teams.

  • Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a strong learning mindset, with a willingness to take ownership and improve processes over time.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with Capital Markets workflows such as Sales, Trading, Banking, or Research.

  • Exposure to enterprise AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Studio, or Claude.

  • Experience in training, user enablement, support, or change management.

  • Experience working with or evaluating external technology vendors.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, technology, STEM, or a related field.

What We Offer

  • A unique opportunity to work at the forefront of AI adoption at one of Canada's leading financial institutions.

  • Hands-on experience in embedding AI into high-value, revenue-generating workflows.

  • Exposure to senior decision-makers and cross-functional teams across Capital Markets.
