Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain models and processes for multi-asset portfolio management.
  • Conduct portfolio construction, risk analysis, and manager evaluations.
  • Contribute to comprehensive research projects on portfolio design and management.
  • Develop and revise Python programs that enhance the investment process.
  • Assume primary responsibility for key areas of the team’s processes.
  • Collaborate with various Nuveen teams to drive the success of the TDMA platform.
  • Present team research findings and processes to stakeholders, both internal and external.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build and support models and processes used in the management of multi-asset portfolios.
  • Processes include portfolio construction, risk analysis, and manager analysis.
  • Contribute to research projects that span portfolio design, construction, and management.
  • Revise and create Python computer programs which support the investment process.
  • Take on primary responsibility for specific aspects of the teams process.
  • Work with groups across Nuveen to ensure success of TDMA platform.
  • Communicate team research and processes to internal and external stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 to 7 years experience supporting multi-asset portfolios.
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, engineering, computer science or related fields with proven academic success.
  • Quantitative focus preferred. CFA, CIMA, CFP, MS, MBA, or PhD also preferred.
  • Experience in multi-asset research or investments.
  • Committed self-motivated individual who can demonstrate initiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills, and exemplary attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of programming (Python) preferred.

Base Pay Range: $138,800/yr - $205,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
