About the Job:

As the Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading the Taco Bell Division's monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and consolidation activities, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial results. In this position you will serve as a key partner to division, market, and control teams by providing accounting guidance, supporting reporting requirements, and driving the preparation of critical financial deliverables for executive leadership. In addition, the role oversees all aspects of accounting and reporting for Yum! Brands' property and casualty insurance programs and captive insurance company, partnering closely with risk management, actuarial, planning, and external audit teams to manage insurance reserves, regulatory compliance, financial analysis, and reporting. The position plays a critical role in supporting informed business decisions through strong financial stewardship, effective cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to accounting standards and corporate policies.

You will be required to attend the Louisville, KY office three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).

Salary Range:

$110,500-$125,600 + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Taco Bell Division Period and Quarterly Reporting
  • Lead the TB division monthly/period and quarterly consolidation and reporting processes. Partner with market control teams to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting of Taco Bell results, providing guidance on accounting, schedules, and validations.
  • Provide accounting support to Taco Bell international market and Division HQ. Partner with Division Controller and market teams to resolve accounting matters and roll out any new reporting changes.
  • Prepare and/or review all key quarterly deliverables including the Division Balance Sheet Book, MD&A, Division and YUM CFO Close Decks, and representation letters. Participate in quarterly review meetings with Control leadership and Division finance teams.


Insurance Accounting
  • Lead all aspects of accounting and reporting for YUM's various property and casualty insurance programs. Partner with control, risk management, actuaries and planning teams (YUM and brand/division) to monitor, adjust and communicate any changes in the insurance reserves. Prepare deck and lead quarterly insurance meetings with Control and risk management leadership, including YUM's Controller, and KPMG.
  • Partner with actuary and risk management team to evaluate insurance trends and insurance reserves. Lead the actuarial accounting and reporting process including validation of exposure data from brand planning, review of actuarial reports and analysis, summarization and communication of P&L impact.
  • Responsible for accounting and reporting related to Yum's captive insurance company, including preparation of GAAP & statutory financial information, coordination of audit with external auditors and review of other regulatory compliance requirements.
