Full Job Description
POSITION:

Assistant Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst, full-time position located in the Merced Branch, Merced, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

The Assistant Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for providing advanced credit analysis, underwriting support, and operational leadership within the Branch and across the Association. This position serves as a mentor and resource to Credit Analysts and Operations/Credit Support Specialists, supports branch leadership in achieving credit and underwriting goals, and manages the loan analysis process from initial review through final credit write-up. The AVP, Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for formulating projections based on historical financial data, making preliminary recommendations based on credit analysis, recommending appropriate loan controls and conditions and monitoring financial performance. The role also includes preparing required loan documentation, coordinating borrower and client correspondence, assisting with the timely and accurate completion of loan documents, and other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration or Agricultural Business with concentration in Finance, Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in underwriting.
  • Must have good analytical and statistical skills to evaluate, prioritize, and categorize data for credit related activities.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a good understanding of accounting and finance.
  • Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, and Adobe.
  • Agricultural knowledge, experience and education are desirable.


GRADE/SALARY/BENEFITS:

Yosemite Farm Credit offers a competitive benefit package that includes, but is not limited to, outstanding vacation/sick time accrual, health, dental, and vision plans, tuition reimbursement, 401k fixed AND company match, corporate fitness program, performance related compensation, volunteer time off and paid holidays.

The Base Salary for this position ranges from $7,700 (minimum) - $11,000 (maximum) per month, depending on experience. Position is also eligible to participate in annual incentive program (performance related compensation) earning up to 10% of annual base salary. This program is subject to Board approval.

WORKPLACE FLEXIBILITY PROGRAM:

Yosemite Farm Credit offers a Workplace Flexibility Program for qualifying positions that provides the opportunity to have a hybrid (in office and work from home) schedule. The Workplace Flexibility Program includes an allowance of up to $500 for qualifying expenses to outfit employees' home office. The in-office requirement will be dependent on the candidate's location.
