Assistant Project Manager dedicated to this Enterprise Account, you will be involved in:
Project Delivery & Coordination- Support the delivery of retail, commercial, and corporate office fit-out projects throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist Project Managers with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, construction, furniture installation, workplace transitions, and project close-out activities.
- Coordinate project information between clients, consultants, contractors, landlords, vendors, and internal team members.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, action logs, risk registers, and project budgets.
- Participate in design reviews and assist in coordinating architectural, engineering, and construction documentation.
- Support workplace transformation initiatives, tenant improvements, office relocations, and occupied-space renovations.
- Assist in coordinating furniture, AV, security, structured cabling, and IT infrastructure installations.
- Help identify project risks, issues, and potential schedule or budget impacts, escalating concerns as appropriate.
Stakeholder & Client Management- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, facilities teams, corporate real estate stakeholders, and workplace services teams.
- Attend project meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, track action items, and follow up on outstanding deliverables.
- Assist with project communications and reporting to ensure stakeholders remain informed on project progress.
- Support the preparation of executive dashboards, presentations, and project status reports.
Procurement, Contracts & Financial Administration- Assist with procurement activities, including consultant and contractor tendering, bid evaluations, and recommendations.
- Support the preparation of purchase orders, contracts, change orders, and service agreements.
- Assist with budget tracking, forecasting, invoice reviews, and payment processing.
- Maintain project financial records and support project reporting requirements.
- Assist in monitoring project expenditures and identifying variances.
Construction Administration & Site Coordination- Participate in site visits to monitor project progress, quality, safety, and compliance with project requirements.
- Assist in documenting site observations and tracking deficiencies and corrective actions.
- Support commissioning activities, furniture installation coordination, and occupancy readiness planning.
- Assist with punch-list management and project turnover activities.
Reporting & Project Controls- Ensure project documentation is maintained in accordance with client governance requirements and document control standards.
- Maintain project files, schedules, issue logs, risk registers, and reporting dashboards.
- Contribute to monthly reporting and program updates.
- Support lessons learned sessions and the completion of close-out documentation.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- 3-5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, construction administration, or a related role.
- Experience supporting retail, commercial, workplace, corporate interiors, tenant improvement, or fit-out projects is preferred.
- Understanding of construction project lifecycles, project controls, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and contract administration.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project documentation is an asset.
- Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, vendors, and multiple stakeholder groups.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management software platforms.
- Experience using web-based project management and collaboration tools.
- CAPM, PMP coursework, or progress toward professional project management certification is considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

The base salary range for the full-time Assistant Project Coordinator role is $80,000 - $110,000. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
