Position SummaryWe are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support multiple facility relocation projects at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This role will assist with project definition, design and permitting, construction, equipment and asset moves, schedule and budget tracking, and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will help integrate design, construction, procurement, and move activities so operational groups can transition into new or modified spaces with minimal disruption.

Organizational Responsibilities- Assist with defining relocation scope by documenting existing conditions, operational needs, space requirements, equipment, assets, and other move-related requirements.
- Maintain project controls for stakeholder requirements, actions, decisions, risks, dependencies, budgets, forecasts, commitments, and changes.
- Support programming, design reviews, permitting, and resolution of comments and approvals required to advance project delivery.
- Coordinate integrated milestones across design, construction, procurement, equipment delivery, relocation, and operational cutover activities.
- Track utility, IT, security, equipment, and facility-support requirements and facilitate coordination among operational groups, designers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
- Participate in site walks, monitor construction and readiness activities, and maintain progress documentation.
- Support move planning, cutover coordination, turnover, closeout, and resolution of outstanding readiness items.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- 5+ years of relevant project management or project coordination experience supporting relocation, renovation, facility, aviation, or similar capital projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related technical discipline required.
- Experience coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders, concurrent activities, and interdependent schedules across design, permitting, construction, procurement, relocation, and closeout.
- Experience working in an active airport or similarly complex operational environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Airline provisioning, inflight, maintenance, warehouse, or support-facility project experience preferred.
- Prior SFO or airline project experience preferred.
- Experience delivering relocations within occupied facilities, including equipment moves, cutovers, or transition planning, preferred.
$128,011 - $150,413 a year
The salary range for this position is $128,011 to $150,413.
A hired employee will be placed within this salary range based on a variety of legitimate business reasons, including but not limited to the individual's scope of relevant experience and geographic location.
Location and Commitments- Overtime work may be required occasionally to ensure certain deliverables are completed on time
- Weekend work is rare but occasionally may be necessary
