Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced, structured, and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support and coordinate enterprise healthcare IT initiatives, infrastructure deployments, and system implementations. This role requires a professional capable of independently coordinating complex IT projects, maintaining comprehensive project documentation, and ensuring alignment across IT teams, vendors, and operational stakeholders.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project governance, tracking milestones, managing project documentation, monitoring risks, and ensuring successful project delivery in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end-to-end activities across multiple concurrent healthcare IT projects
  • Assist in developing project plans, schedules, timelines, and milestones
  • Maintain project trackers, risk logs, issue logs, and action registers
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports and executive summaries
  • Coordinate meetings, document meeting minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Support IT infrastructure implementations, system upgrades, and technology deployments
  • Facilitate communication between IT teams, vendors, leadership, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Track project deliverables and ensure alignment with defined timelines
  • Ensure proper documentation of technical configurations and implementation artifacts
  • Support project governance, reporting, and change management processes
  • Assist in identifying risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies
  • Travel as required to support project deployment and coordination activities


Required Qualifications

Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in IT project coordination or project support roles

Experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure or systems implementation projects

Strong knowledge of IT systems, computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure

Excellent documentation, reporting, and organizational skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to coordinate multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field

Valid G-Class Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments

  • PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification is an asset

This role is for an existing vacancy. The expected hiring range for this role is from $85,000 - $115,000 annually. Final compensation is determined based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience level, and internal equity. Candidates with significantly more experience may be considered at a higher level with adjusted compensation for certain roles.
