Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Your job responsibilities at the outset of your appointment are summarized below. Specific responsibilities, work locations, and lab space may change over time consistent with the needs of the Department.

Your research will be focused on specialized pro-resolving mediators in asthma and immunometabolic phenotypes in adult severe asthma and disease progression. It is anticipated that your primary responsibility is to assist Dean Bruce Levy with research operations in the laboratory, grant submissions, manuscript preparation and writing, and overall supervision of research personnel, staff, students, trainees and other faculty members from the lab.

As a member of the faculty, you will participate in educational programs geared to medicat students, house staff, and fellows. Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine also have a T32 to support predocs and post docs. If you wish, we welcome your interest in providing a few lectures a year in your areas of expertise to these trainees.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field (e.g., immunology, molecular biology, epidemiology, bioinformatics, physiology, health services research, biostatistics).
• Completion of 2-5+ years of postdoctoral training.
