DescriptionClinical Dermatologist - Adult Dermatology FocusThis role is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care with a primary focus on adult populations. The Clinical Dermatologist is responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide spectrum of skin, hair, and nail conditions affecting adults.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality clinical care for adult patients with dermatologic conditions, including but not limited to:
- Acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis
- Skin infections
- Hair and scalp disorders
- Pigmentary disorders
- Benign and malignant skin lesions
- Perform thorough skin examinations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Conduct in-office dermatologic procedures (e.g., biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions as applicable)
- Monitor chronic skin conditions and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on skin health, disease prevention, and treatment adherence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams when necessary
Scope of Practice- Specialized focus on adult dermatology
- Emphasis on clinical (medical) dermatology, rather than cosmetic/aesthetic services (unless otherwise specified)
- Commitment to evidence-based care and patient safety

NOTE: Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
