Title of Position: Assistant Principal - Aaron Mossell Junior High School

Qualifications:
  1. Working knowledge of Learning Standards and NY state assessments
  2. Experience teaching at the secondary levels (preferred)
  3. Strong understanding of the Science of Reading, literacy instruction, and literacy intervention tools and strategies
  4. Strong understanding of special education
  5. Strong understanding of social-emotional learning, classroom and behavior management
  6. The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool

  8. Broad experience with a variety of instructional techniques
