Full Job Description
Central Berkshire Regional School District seeks a dynamic, articulate, results-oriented instructional leader with a clear vision of elementary level education to serve in a unique hybrid capacity. This role combines building-level leadership at Kittredge Elementary School (.6) with math interventionist responsibilities at Kittredge & Becket Washington Elementary Schools (.4).

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current Massachusetts Elementary Educator Licensure, required
  • MA Certification in School Principal/Assistant Principal preferred
  • Master's degree in Education or Administration
  • Minimum of (5) years teaching experience at the elementary level

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist the Principal in developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating instructional programs that promote high levels of student achievement.
  • Support the implementation of the district's adopted curriculum and the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks across all content areas.
  • Foster a school culture that promotes high-quality teaching, learning, equity, belonging, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with teachers to strengthen instructional practice through coaching, collaborative planning, effective use of instructional resources, and implementation of research-based strategies.
  • Support teachers in the effective use of formative and summative assessments, student performance data, and evidence-based instructional practices to improve student outcomes.
  • Analyze student achievement and assessment data to identify instructional priorities, inform curriculum improvements, and guide professional learning.
  • Assist the Principal in supervising, evaluating, coaching, and supporting instructional and support staff.
  • Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality professional learning aligned with district and school improvement goals.
  • Coordinate and oversee school-based local and state assessment programs.
  • Build collaborative relationships with teachers, student support personnel, administrators, students, families, and community partners to advance school improvement efforts.
  • Foster an inclusive learning environment that promotes belonging, student engagement, and meaningful partnerships with families and the community.
  • Collaborate with school and district leadership teams in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of school improvement initiatives.
  • Counsel and collaborate with students, families, and staff to resolve concerns and support student success.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with students, families, staff, community members, and district leadership through written, verbal, and public presentations.
  • Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving in addressing school needs and challenges.
  • Serve as a .4 interventionist, providing direct instructional and intervention support as assigned.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Principal.

SALARY: $87,000 to $97,000 per year
