Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's or CPA/CMA preferred)
• 4-7 years of progressive experience in accounting, financial analysis, or FP&A
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations-based industries
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
• Support the preparation of audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and sub-ledgers
• Review and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, variances, and cost-saving opportunities
• Build financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making support
