Summary The Assistant Patient Care Manager is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of nursing operations, ensuring quality care for patients and their families. Mentors, serves as a resource, and provides support for staff and faculty on clinical nursing issues while meeting the department, nursing, and organization goals. Oversees clinical care performed by assigned nursing staff.
Job Title: Assistant Patient Care Manager
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or other related field of study
- Alternatively, Associate's degree with BSN in process, to be completed within University program guidelines, not to exceed four (4) years from date of hire.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in Nursing
Required Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required Experience: Minimum three (3) years nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
- Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
- Oncology experience preferred
Skills/Training Required: Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Advanced nursing skills; IV therapy, intervention with emergencies, teaching skills. Demonstrated competency in in-patient and out-patient best practices including patient care, technology, and processes
Salary Range $98,342.40 - $150,030.40
