What You'll Do- Parts Staff Recruiting, Training and Development
- Ensure employees are properly trained to meet department, store and customer needs.
- Develop staff by setting and communicating performance/production expectations, monitoring performance, identifying development needs, coaching, and mentoring.
- Customer Engagement
- Resolve customer requests, questions, and concerns in a professional, friendly, and prompt manner.
- Warranty Parts Management
- Ensure full compliance with all procedures, policies, and rules regarding the maintenance of warranty parts as set by the manufacturer.
- Returns Processing
- Ensure core, warranty, manufacturer, and aftermarket parts returns are processed accurately, timely, and in full compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management
- Assure stocking levels are sufficient to meet customer demands.
- Inventory investment to produce 6-8 turns per year to ensure maximum return on investment and customer satisfaction.
- Utilize inventory reports to manage inventory levels daily. Identify areas not aligned with department goals and take action to resolve.
- Ensure orders are processed, check for backordered items and customers are notified of order status.
- Responsible for placing daily orders, stock orders, receipting, posting inventory and special orders.
- Administrative Functions
- Read, understand, and take action on MIS reports to generate maximum revenue and control expenses.
- Hold daily and monthly staff meetings as required covering key information.
- Serve as liaison between the store and Lithia Home Office Fixed Operations. Receive, communicate, and hold staff accountable to policy and procedure requirements and updates.
- Complete parts department reporting and month-end procedures on time.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
- Parts Department Facilities
- Accountable for the physical appearance and maintenance of the parts inventory, retail display, wholesale, storage space, and other assets utilized by the parts department.
- Inspect and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of all parts areas in accordance with state and federal OSHA laws to ensure a professional, safe environment for customers and employees.

Estimated Annual Compensation: $60,000.00 to $125,000.00
Actual pay depends on experience, skills, production, etc.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required. We are a drug free workplace.
