Schedule: Rotating shift | Full-time

Salary range: $104,857.04 - $141.865.41 per year


How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Dynamic Shift Leadership: Orchestrates unit operations through a rotating schedule, providing essential leadership presence during day, evening, and night blocks (including 3pm-11pm and 7pm-3am) to support 24/7 clinical continuity.
  • Front-Line Staff Mentorship: Supervises and mentors nursing staff across all shifts, delivering real-time coaching and performance evaluations to ensure high clinical proficiency in a Level III environment.
  • Quality & Process Integration: Collaborates with department leadership to implement quality improvement initiatives and process enhancements, ensuring patient care standards are met during peak-activity hours.
  • Tactical Resource Coordination: Manages real-time staffing schedules and patient access through active delegation, maintaining smooth workflows and addressing immediate operational needs as they arise.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:
• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

  • 2 years of Charge or Leadership experience
