Qualifications

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher
  • 2 years of ICU RN experience in an Acute Care setting
  • BLS certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • Preferred: 1 year of Nursing Leadership experience
  • Preferred: CCRN certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide proficient care to ICU patients with effective management skills
  • Support the Nurse Manager in supervising team operations and addressing patient care issues
  • Conduct ongoing performance appraisals and manage hiring, counseling, and termination processes
  • Serve as a role model for team members and communicate organizational updates
  • Delegate appropriate patient care activities among the healthcare team

Full Job Description
Every day, our Registered Nurses deliver a level of excellence and compassionate care to our patients in the ICU.

Positions details:

  • Location: St. Joseph's Hospital South - Medical/Surgical ICU - Riverview, Florida
  • Status: Full Time; Exempt from Overtime
  • Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • On Call: Yes
  • Always in person

Requirements:

  • RN (Registered Nurse) License

The Assistant Nurse Manager - ICU responsibilities and skills:

  • Proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills
