Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Facility Operations safety experience required.
• Must obtain a safety certification within 3 months (CSP, CIH, CHMM, or OSHA 500).
• 15+ years of relevant experience, education can substitute for a portion.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Exceptional organization and coordination skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EHS policies and procedures in compliance with regulations.
• Manage site-based safety personnel within a matrix organization.
• Identify safety training requirements for Global employees.
• Lead the implementation of Best Practices and known methods.
• Advise management on EHS issues with expert guidance.
• Support new work applications with safety prequalifications and presentations.
• Assist in designing safety programs to address unsafe conditions.
