Full Job Description
Assistant General Manager

Location: Vancouver, BC
Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 per year depending on experience and skills

Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager (AGM) will support daily hospital operations and work closely with the Medical Director, managers, and team leads to ensure operational and service excellence.

The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with a diverse team of veterinarians, technicians, and client care specialists. You are organized, adaptable, proactive, and confident in managing competing priorities while supporting team development and positive change.

Key Responsibilities & Attributes:
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and support to multiple teams.
  • Partner with the GM on hospital operations, recruitment, finance, inventory, capital expenditures, and special projects.
  • Drive positive change while considering both people and financial impacts.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Build strong relationships and maintain clear, effective communication across all levels of the hospital.
