We are now seeking an Assistant General Manager at Heritage Estates!
About the Role
As the Assistant Manager, you'll partner closely with the General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the community while helping create an exceptional experience for residents, families, and employees. What You'll Do
- Support daily operations across multiple departments, including Dining, Housekeeping, Plant Operations, Guest Services, Transportation, Marketing, and Health & Wellness.
- Partner with the General Manager to ensure efficient, compliant, and profitable community operations.
- Assists in the planning and prioritization of capital expenditure (CapEx) projects, supporting decision making based on return on investment (ROI), life-safety considerations, and operational impact.
- Assists with project and vendor coordination, including bidding processes, timeline management, budget tracking, and minimizing operational disruption.
- Ensures projects are aligned with applicable regulatory, life-safety, ADA, OSHA, and company requirements.
- Assist with community licensing, regulatory compliance, documentation, and risk management.
- Collaborate with department leaders to improve operational performance and the resident experience.
- Support community sales and marketing efforts while serving as a liaison between residents, families, and leadership.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with CapEx projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive management experience.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading teams.
- Healthcare, senior living, hospitality, or related leadership experience preferred.
- Strong financial, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- State Assisted Living/Residential Care Administrator certification required, where applicable.
