YOUR ROLE AT ZEGNA

As Assistant General Manager, based in our South Coast Plaza - Costa Mesa boutique, you will bring your unique strengths to the Retail Leadership Team, helping us deliver an elevated guest experience while supporting the daily operations, team development, and strategic growth of the boutique.

You'll work closely with the General Manager and store team to drive performance, cultivate a service-first culture, and serve as a role model for excellence in leadership and guest service.

HOW YOU BRING IT TO LIFE

  • Drive boutique sales and KPIs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, while inspiring the team through example and mentorship.
  • Support the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the boutique, including supervising staff, optimizing shift scheduling, and ensuring team productivity.
  • Identify training and development needs and dedicate time to in-the-moment coaching to elevate team performance and guest experience.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork and accountability, proactively assisting the team with challenges and opportunities.
  • Contribute to recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent while promoting engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and local CRM/Marketing teams to activate in-store events and guest outreach initiatives.
  • Promote the usage of digital tools and services to optimize the guest journey and drive business growth.
  • Assist in product feedback and merchandising strategy by monitoring inventory flow, consolidations, and transfers.
  • Ensure store presentation, visual merchandising, and team appearance meet ZEGNA brand standards and guidelines.
  • Monitor adherence to company operational protocols and the ZEGNA Code of Ethics, including support with compliance and training.
  • Champion a guest-centric culture by consistently delivering best-in-class service and supporting the team in building strong guest relationships.
