Qualifications

  • LEED GA Credential or AP/AP+ certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Electrical Project Managers in leading electrical project phases from conceptual design to project completion.
  • Support multiple electrical projects concurrently on various field locations.
  • Coordinate with field operations teams to ensure smooth on-site execution of project plans.
  • Enforce compliance with safety and certification standards on all project sites.
  • Interface with project stakeholders to meet quality and timeline objectives.

Full Job Description
Since 1996, RQC, LLC. has been a leading player in Southern California's robust commercial and governmental Design-Build economy. We now have a national presence with current projects spanning coast to coast. We are a full-service Design-Build company. We offer management of projects throughout the United States, with our field operations' team members who work on location for each of our projects. We specialize in fast-track projects in new commercial construction for both public and private clients, with a primary focus in the Department of Defense (DoD) market.

We are looking for an Assistant Electrical Project Manager (AEPM) candidate to join our Field Operations team located in Kings Bay, Georgia. Our Asst. Electrical PMs are responsible for assisting the EPMs in leading all electrical aspects and phases of a project from conceptual design to final completion in support of RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. Our Asst. Electrical Project Managers may be responsible for supporting more than one electrical project at a time. Local candidates will be given priority.

Pay Rate: $80-100K DOE

  • A BA/BS degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is the minimum formal education required for this position. A combination of equivalent work experience and training in the field may be qualifying.
  • Five or more years or equivalent work experience as a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager (or equivalent) in the electrical construction industry required. Work experience in the design-build industry desired.
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office esp. Teams, Bluebeam, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required.
  • Specific software literacy (McCormick, Primavera 3/6, Viewpoint, BIM, Revit) preferred.
