Job Summary

Julian Charter School is seeking a Full Time Assistant Director of Special Education. 100%FTE. This position works with special education programs in both San Diego & Riverside counties. Travel will be required between school locations.

The Assistant Director of Special Education provides coordination, consultation and program development for JCS Family of Charter Schools' special education programs. The Assistant Director, Special Education will, consistent with school policies and priorities, plan, organize, and manage human and material resources, services and operational functions for special education programs and personnel servicing these programs.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in a field related to education or child development is required. A minimum of 3-5 years of teaching or other certificated school related experience is required. Special Education experience preferred.
