We are searching for a dedicated, experienced, and compassionate individual who is prepared to take on the challenges of leadership in a healthcare setting. As the Unit Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse), you will play an integral role in ensuring top-quality clinical operations that align with our strategic goals. Reporting directly to the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), you'll lead a team dedicated to delivering compassionate care, driving compliance with regulations, and spearheading quality initiatives.
- Oversee clinical service administration positions and provide essential support to nursing staff.
- Plan and direct the nursing service department, ensuring compliance with industry standards and state regulations.
- Maintain nursing policies, procedures, and reference materials to guide staff in daily operations.
- Coordinate nursing services with other resident services for holistic care.
- Provide oversight of an 80 bed unit
- Participate in surveys and inspections by regulatory agencies.
- Help cultivate a culture of quality improvement within the facility.
- Assure sufficient staffing levels in compliance with state guidelines.
- Maintain a respectful and professional environment for residents, families, and staff.
- Implement emergency procedures as necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
RequirementsEDUCATION:
- B.S. in Nursing (Registered Nurse)
EXPERIENCE:
- At least two years of experience in direct patient care, including leadership roles in long-term care.
- Ventilator and trach experience
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona.
- Current BLS certification.
- Must maintain licensure and have a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.
