What you'll do- Support the Director of Nursing in providing leadership and oversight to the nursing team.
- Assist in developing and executing plans to meet departmental goals and objectives.
- Monitor patient care delivery and clinical outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, including state and federal regulations.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement.
- Partner with Human Resources to recruit, onboard, and retain top nursing talent.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient care and safety.
- Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.
What you need- Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and expertise in nursing practice and patient care.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and lead a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
