Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) to support our Nursing Services Department. If you're a compassionate leader with a passion for quality care, we'd love to meet you!
Responsibilities- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the daily operations of the Nursing Services Department
- Participate in interviewing and screening residents for admission
- Review nurses' notes to ensure proper documentation of treatments, medications, and resident conditions
- Conduct daily rounds to observe resident care and identify needs
- Communicate with physicians and visit selected residents regularly
- Assist the MDS/Care Plan Coordinator with planning, scheduling, and revising MDS assessments, including implementing RAPs and triggers
Qualifications- Registered Nurse (RN) with 1+ year of leadership experience as an ADON, DON, or similar role in long-term care
- Experience with the geriatric population strongly preferred
