Position DetailsThe ADON reports to the Clinical Director of Nursing and is responsible for overall responsibility of care given to the patients by the nursing staff. This is a key leadership role, providing leadership, staff support and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure that standards of quality care are achieved on a consistent basis.
Position Qualifications: - New York State RN license
- Degree in Nursing or a related field; BSN a plus
- 3+ years of experience as an RN in a medical/surgical, rehab or long-term care environment
- Prior Supervisory or Management experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership ability; ability to lead teams and empower staff
- Communicates effectively with others; is cooperative and helpful
