Assistant Director of Forensic Services , where you'll help shape the delivery of high-quality forensic assessments while mentoring the next generation of psychology professionals.
In this pivotal role, you'll work closely with the Director of Forensic Services to oversee operations, ensure clinical excellence, and maintain compliance across all forensic programs. You'll guide psychologists, post-doctoral fellows, and interns-providing both leadership and supervision to strengthen services that support the intersection of mental health and the legal system.
What You'll Do - Oversee and support the provision of forensic services in collaboration with the Director.
- Conduct and review forensic evaluations related to Competency to Stand Trial (CST), Criminal Responsibility (CR), aid-in-sentencing, and civil commitment.
- Provide expert testimony when required.
- Supervise and mentor evaluators, post-doctoral fellows, and interns to support professional development.
- Ensure all documentation meets statutory, contractual, and accreditation standards.
- Model ethical practice, clinical precision, and collaborative leadership in every aspect of your work.
What We're Looking For Education - Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited university (required).
Experience - Minimum of three (3) years of experience in forensic assessment (preferred).
- Proven ability to conduct complex evaluations related to Competency to Stand Trial (CST), Criminal Responsibility (CR), and civil commitment (required).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in supervising or mentoring clinical staff, post-doctoral fellows, or psychology interns (required).
- Strong understanding of ethical standards, compliance requirements, and documentation protocols within forensic or clinical settings (required).
Licenses/Certifications - Licensed Psychologist in the state of practice (required).
