Job Summary
Under the direction of the Deputy Superintendent, the Director of Multilingual Learner Services is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of a school district's program to support multilingual learners, including curriculum development, teacher training, student assessment, family engagement, and advocacy, ensuring all multilingual students, including Newcomer students, receive appropriate educational support to achieve academic success. This role requires a deep understanding of language acquisition theories, federal and state regulations regarding multilingual learning, and strong leadership skills to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and community members to effectively serve diverse student populations.

• Teaching credential and classroom experience preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in educational leadership, program coordination, or a related field.
• Experience working at the site or district level preferred
