Job Summary

The Walnut Creek School District is seeking an Assistant Director Innovation, Technology and Communication. The Assistant Director of Innovation, Technology and Communication
provides strategic leadership for the District's educational technology, information technology, and communications programs. This position advances innovative teaching and learning through the effective integration of instructional technology, oversees the District's technology infrastructure and digital systems, and leads comprehensive internal and external communications that promote transparency, strengthen community engagement, and effectively tell the Walnut Creek School District story. The Assistant Director collaborates with district and site leaders to build organizational capacity,
ensure equitable access to technology, and support the District's mission through innovation, reliable technology services, and clear, consistent communication.

A California Credential authorizing Administrative Services is required for this position.
A Resume, Letter of Interest, and (2-3) Letters of Recommendation are also required for the application.
