Job Summary: Responsible for assigned projects, select operations, and Warren Clinic departments. Reporting directly to the Director, the Assistant Director manages special projects, leads departments as assigned, assists with quality attainment, and manages special meetings.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or basic professional curricula of a school of nursing as approved and verified by a state board of nursing preferred.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License if a Registered Nurse.
Work Experience: 5 years of clinical experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of human resource functions. Knowledge of planning, organization, leading, controlling and budgeting. Demonstrate good judgment and competencies.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Ensures efficient and effective office processes and workflows are in place that achieve high-quality patient care while adhering to established policies and procedures for each clinical practice site. Promotes optimal performance in the use of the electronic medical record and standardized procedures and workflows at each practice location. Manage supervisors and office operations to seamlessly navigate and coordinate care for patients as they receive healthcare services within Saint Francis Health System and from external medical providers or systems. Conducts meetings and initiates phone contact with physicians and staff at each practice site on a regular basis to address practice access and patient experiences, as well as other provider concerns or issues. Works with the Warren Clinic Director to oversee all clinical and administrative operations of the clinic. Forecasts, analyzes, explains and seeks to improve upon the statistical and financial performance and other operational achievements of multiple medical providers and their respective offices. Determines capital needs through collaboration with physicians, staff and upper-level management and as well prepares the necessary justification and presentation materials to warrant approval of expenditures. Serves as a communicative leader to providers and their office staff in explaining and successfully complying with legislative rules and regulations, clinical quality measures, value-based purchasing programs, and other initiatives undertaken by the Saint Francis Health System and its Warren Clinic. Performs other duties as assigned by administration.
Decision Making: Independent judgment in making decisions from many diversified alternatives that are subject to general review in final stages only.
Working Relationships: Direct supervision of others to include the Warren Clinic Supervisors. Works directly with customers and other healthcare professionals. Works with internal/external customers. Works with individuals at director level or above.
