Assistant Controller
Location: Scranton
Salary Grade: Manager III
Duties: Assist with month-end close, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and management reports. Support SEC and regulatory reporting, annual audits, and examinations. Oversee investment accounting, fixed assets, and related accounting records. Assist with enterprise-wide projects and financial analysis. Supervise accounting staff and help ensure strong internal controls and operational efficiency.
Skills: Strong knowledge of bank accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Experience: A minimum of 10 years prior banking or related experience required.
Education: A 4 year degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred, CPA highly desired.
