Examples of work performed:- Manage the day-to-day accounting activities for all assigned entities, including the closing of the Company's books each month and developing the company's financial reporting and accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
- Review account reconciliations and research reconciling items timely.
- Assist with annual budget process and periodic reforecasting, including coordination with department heads, senior management and related entities.
- Manage all league reporting and communication
- Coordinate and assist with team's annual audits.
- Effectively communicate findings and corrective actions with staff and management.
- Assist with annual tax data gathering for outside tax preparers
- Coordinate with Shared Services team members to ensure accurate financial information and processes.
- Supervise, train and develop staff.
- Additional ad hoc projects, as assigned.

Qualifications- Minimum
- 4-8+ years' experience in corporate accounting with 3+ years managing direct reports.
- Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA, working towards CPA certification and/or MBA preferred.
Competencies/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Excellent systems aptitude and strong analytical skills.
- Excel at problem solving and detail oriented.
- General ledger knowledge and financial analysis skills a must.
- Excels in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment with the ability to prioritize and keep a positive attitude.
- High detail orientation and problem-solving skills required.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate successfully with people at many levels within the company.
- Microsoft Office Experience with strength in Excel.
Compensation- Base Salary Range $115,000 - $140,000 per annum
