Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA required or in progress preferred.
• 6 to 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in corporate or healthcare settings.
• Strong command of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in multisite healthcare and familiarity with RCM revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review journal entries and account reconciliations prepared by the accounting team.
• Lead and manage the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close process.
• Own the relationship with internal and external auditors, coordinating schedules and documentation.
• Review account balances to identify discrepancies and assess risk.
• Oversee tax filings, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Partner with operations and finance leadership to ensure accurate reporting.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, including Senior and Staff Accountants.
• Help design and maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
